The founder of AeroNautiConsult started his career at the age of 17 as assisting mechanic at a local airfield Maintenance Organisation. The combination of working with General Aviation Aircraft and exploring the joy of glider flying was the initial steps on the aviation ladder.
At the conclusion of Aircraft Mechanic studies in Oslo in 1980, an apprenticeship wih Braathens SAFE Technical Department in Stavanger was started. At the age of 24, the first ICAO II License was in hand -The Fokker F27 Friendship.
Over the 17 years of employment with Braathens SAFE he held various hands on and administrative positions as Licensed Mechanic, Inspector, Maintenance Support Engineer, Planning Engineer and Product Manager.
He then moved on to the rotorwing business with Helikopter Service as Head of Component / Asset Management before taking position as Business Manager for Engine Maintenance.
In April 2002, AeroNautiConsult was established, and the «Launch Customer» was Norwegian Air Shuttle in their process to start the Boeing 737 operations in September 2002.
